Dwayne Potter

POTTER, Dwayne It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald “Dwayne” Potter announces his peaceful passing at his home in Austin, Texas after a brief illness, on Monday, July 30, 2018, at the age of 70 years. He was born on September 28, 1947, in Tyler, Texas to Leon and Eleanor Potter. He was a graduate of John Tyler High School and The University of Texas in Austin. Dwayne is survived by his precious wife, Debbie; sons, Zachary and Justin; their wives Krysten and Jamie; 8 wonderful grandchildren: Cameron, Joshua, Collin, Tanner, Allison, Cason, Weston and Brenna; sisters, Sue Parris, Mary Sue Bagby, Patsy Frisby, Shirley Gilbert, Lona Elmore; brother, Jay Hickman; two nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, 3 great nephews, numerous cousins, and a great uncle. Family and friends whose lives were touched by Dwayne are invited to a visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1207 West 45th Street, Austin, TX 78756 on August 6, 2018 from 10 am – 12 pm.
