Roger Kinzie

Roger William Kinzie, 61, of Ft. Davis, Texas, passed away
Thursday, July 9, 2015 in Lubbock, TX.

A celebration of life service will be held August 14, 2015
at the Sul Ross Pete Gallego Gymnasium at 7 pm in Alpine, TX.

Roger was born January 15, 1954 in Cleburne, Texas to Patricia
(Randall) Watts. He graduated from Alpine High School in 1972. On June 26, 1993
he married Rosa Elena Hartnett in their home town of Ft. Davis. Roger lived and
worked in the Austin, Houston and DFW area before returning to his hometown of
Ft. Davis, TX in 1989. He enjoyed working outdoors and with the TASO: Permian
Basin Chapter where he officiated numerous volleyball games throughout the
Permian Basin. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, sports and spending time with his
children and grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his wife, Ellen Kinzie, sons Chris
Jackson and his wife Megan Jackson of Brenham, TX and Kevin Kinzie and his
fiancée Charity Gailey of La Porte, TX, Daughters, Stephanie Kinzie of
Dickinson, TX, Hannah Gray and her husband Bobby Gray of Ft. Davis, TX, Denica
Hernandez and her husband Gus Hernandez of Lovington, NM and Alesha Kinzie of
Ft. Davis, TX; 12 grandchildren, step‑father Barrick Watts and mother Patricia
Watts of Ft. Davis, TX, brothers Pat Watts, Gary Watts, Randall Kinzie and Brad
Watts, his sister Debbie Billing and several nieces, nephews and extended
family. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Chance Salcido in 2011.
