COASTAL BEND SOCCER CHAPTER HONORS FORMER MEMBER
The Coastal Bend officiating crew at the Ray‑Calhoun Varsity boys and girls matches honored the family of Brandon Beardsley, a former CBSRA member who passed away in May 2019. Brandon’s wife, Misty Beardsley, and two sons, Cade and Trent, were invited to be an honorary part of the CBSRA crew. They were included in the pre‑game and halftime talks as well as sat between the two team benches at Cabaniss East. The Beardsleys officiate as well as help with administrative duties for the Padre Soccer Club in Corpus Christi. It is the goal of the Coastal Bend chapter to encourage youth referees in their area in hopes to help them achieve their goals on and off the field.
