Bill McClure
Bill McClure, 76, passed away Oct. 23, 2013, at his home in Fort Worth. Bill was a Life Member of both the TASO Fort Worth Football Chapter and TASO. Bill served the Fort Worth Chapter as a chapter officer and instructor and more recently as an observer. Additionally, he was an NFL and collegiate officials scout, an observer for the Sun Belt, Big West, Mountain West and Big XII conferences, and was co‑chairman of the Armed Forces Bowl. Bill was a graduate of TCU who recently had the newly renovated officials locker at Amon Carter Stadium named in his honor. Bill was instrumental in advancing many Texas high school football officials to the collegiate and professional ranks.
