Marjorie Stephenson

Margie Stephenson, wife of long time Dallas Football Chapter Secretary Charles Stephenson, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018.  Margie was a significant supporter of the DFOA for the past fifty years. Her family, in acknowledgement of that relationship, will have a specified area for football officials and their families at the funeral service on Saturday, May 5, 2018 beginning at 12:00 PM (noon).  There will be officials that can direct you to that area if you desire.  There will be a very large crowd, so we would recommend that you arrive early.

The TASO Football Board of Directors selected Margie as one of only three women to receive the Florence Buchanan Service Award.  This award is reserved for spouses who have demonstrated a long‑time service and support to TASO Football.

There will be a time of visitation on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the funeral service will be on Saturday as noted.  Each of these will be at the Waterview Church of Christ, 1409 N. Waterview, Richardson, Tx.  The burial will be for family only at the Turrentine‑Jackson‑Morrow Funeral Home in Allen. The family has suggested memorial donations in her name should be made to your favorite charity, or to one of the family’s recommendation of Robert and Willora Oglesby Foundation (thru the Waterview Church of Christ), Christian Works, JJ Pearce Theater, or the Juvenile Diabetes Society.
