Beaumont Baseball Chapter Contributes To Wounded Warrior Project
On March 28, 2015,
TASO Baseball Beaumont Chapter Members Leo Stringer, James Roberson, James
Frederick, Eric Bagwell and Bryant Jones were assigned a game at East Chambers
High School. The crew, knowing that East Chambers was honoring veterans that
night and collecting funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, decided to donate
their game fee to the project. Other chapter members also contributed and the
TASO Baseball Beaumont Chapter matched the chapter’s donations.
This resulted in a
total of $1,630 from TASO Baseball Beaumont Chapter members that was donated to
East Chambers High School’s Wounded Warrior Project. Overall, more than $12,000
was raised for the East Chambers High School’s Wounded Warrior Project.
Congratulations to
the crew and chapter. This is the type of contribution by TASO members that
happens often but many times goes unnoticed.
