Longtime TASO Baseball Beaumont Chapter member, Richard D.
Skinner, 64, of Kirbyville died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his Richard Dale
Skinner, 64, of Kirbyville, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at his
residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Central Baptist Church
in Kirbyville with Bro. Jamie Kinman officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia
Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00‑8:00 pm Thursday at Adams
EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Pallbearers will be Zach Fairchild, Vic
Hamilton, Chris Hinton, Steve Moody, Darrell Sheffield, Brent Stark, and Darin
Stark. Honorary pallbearers will be the Beaumont Chapter of TASO Baseball
Umpires.
Born January 11, 1951 in Jasper, Texas, he was a native and lifelong resident
of Kirbyville. He was a longtime funeral director and retired administrator of
the Southeast Texas Forensic Center. He was also a longtime High School
Baseball Umpire with TASO.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Skinner of Kirbyville; his children, Jonothan
& Amanda Skinner of Midlothian, TX, Staci & Gary Fairchild of
Kirbyville, Samantha Skinner of Lufkin, Jennifer Skinner of DeSoto, and 6
grandchildren, Chris Hinton, Zach Fairchild, Jordan Hinton, Kayla Skinner,
Addisyn Fairchild, and Graesyn Fairchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O.D. and Verdell Skinner; and a
brother, Ronal Skinner.
