Recently, the Kinesiology Department with South Texas College in McAllen, Texas, hosted the Fall 2023 Kinesiology Symposium for all Kinesiology Majors, Certified Personal Trainer Program students and any interested students.

Kelly Moore (TASO‑RGV Basketball) and Conrado Alvarado (TASO RGV Basketball & Tip of Texas Volleyball) attended the symposium and had the opportunity to talk and recruit over 30 students to join any the six  TASO Chapters located in the Rio Grande .Kelly personally talked to five new potential basketball members and walked them through the process of joining the RGV Basketball Chapter, with one signing up on the spot.
