TASO BASKETBALL ANNUAL MEETING WEBINAR GUEST SPEAKER
The TASO Basketball Division Board of Directors has announced that the Guest Speaker for the 2021 TASO Basketball Annual Meeting will be Ruben Ramos:
- Ruben Ramos is a 28‑year NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball (MBB) Official.
- Currently, he is working in the West Region Officiating Consortium that includes assignments in the Big Sky, Mountain West, PAC‑12, West Coast and Western Athletic Conferences during the 2021‑22 season.
- Ruben has also had the privilege of working games in the Atlantic‑Sun, Big 12, Conference USA and Sun Belt Conferences.
- Ruben has officiated games in the Division I NCAA MBB Tournament, Pre‑Season and Post‑ Season National Invitational Tournaments, and several Post‑Season Conference Championship Tournaments.
- Ruben started officiating basketball in San Antonio, Texas and proudly served as President of the San Antonio Chapter of the Southwest Basketball Officials Association for two years.
- Since 1990 to‑date, Ruben has participated as a Camper, Clinician and Guest Speaker at Training and Development Camps throughout the country.
