TASO BASKETBALL WELCOMES GREATER SAN ANTONIO BASKETBALL CHAPTER
The members of the Greater San Antonio Basketball Chapter have overwhelming voted to immediately move their Chapter’s affiliation to TASO Basketball.
“The goal of individual officials and any basketball chapter should be continuous improvement in support of student athletes and the schools we service, while enabling a fair competitive environment. The Greater San Antonio Chapter (GSAC) is excited to partner with the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) in a mutually beneficial relationship that enhances the goals and objective of both TASO and GSAC,” stated Chapter President Matt Robinsson. “One of those goals is recruiting and retaining new talent to ensure our organizations remain solid. I believe under TASO, GSAC and our excellent group of referees will progress to the next level, on and off the court. GSAC anticipates a great 2025/2026 season and beyond.”
According to J.P. Patterson, TASO Basketball President, “The GSAC Chapter is fully aligned with the TASO Mission, Values and Vision which will strengthen both organizations. We proudly welcome the GSAC members back to the TASO family.”
