TASO STATEMENT REGARDING CONDUCT Of A FOOTBALL MEMBER
November 29, 2025.
The leadership of the Football Division of the Texas Association of Sports Officials was notified of conduct by a member or members that failed to meet our standards during November 28, 2025, 3A Division II Semifinal football game between Henrietta and Gunter. As a result, TASO has taken the following actions:
- A full investigation of the incident has been initiated by the TASO State Office.
- The TASO Football Crew that was assigned to the game have been immediately suspended pending the results of a full investigation.
- The Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) and both schools will be updated during this investigation and will receive a report of our final determinations.
TASO will have no additional comments or statements during our on‑gong investigation.
